Nelson Founder's Heritage Park commissioned me to make this fun interactive display to explore Ernest Rutherford's famous gold leaf experiment. They have a little cottage which is a replica of Rutherford's childhood home showcasing his life and the experiments that he did.

The red ball represents an electron which you fire at the gold leaf. Will the electron pass right through or will it bounce back?
